On a recent road-trip from my cottage in Gatineau to Vancouver through 3 provinces and 7 states, I decided to take an extra day and a massive detour to drive through a bit of Yellowstone. 14 days and nearly 7000kms and this was the only day it rained. A bit of a drag, but well worth it. I wish I’d either planned better or had more time. Yellowstone is amazing. From boiling ponds, wild buffalo and deer to the Old Faithful Geyser – the scenery is incredible. I only got there in mid-afternoon and I was losing light quickly. I did manage to get to Old Faithful before the sun went down, but didn’t get a lot of pictures. I will definitely be back.
