Quotes are some of my favourite things.  I grew up with my father starting many sentences with “A great man once said” or “In the words of (insert name here)”.  Maybe that’s how it came about.  Either way, I find that many things have already been said; usually far more eloquently than I could say them.  They put into words many of our own feelings and desires.  They can make us laugh.  They can inspire and motivate.  They can give us pause.
